Nail Tech Class Schedule

Beauty Up offers both day and evening class options to help students choose
a schedule that fits their availability.

Day Classes

Days: 2 days per week
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekly Instruction: 12 hours

Night Classes

Days: 3 days per week
Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Weekly Instruction: 12 hours

English & Spanish Classes Available

Nail Tech Program Curriculum

The Beauty Up Nail Technology Program consists of 100 hours
of instruction. The curriculum combines theoretical education with
practical training and supervised clinical practice.

Phase 1 — Theoretical Instruction: First 50 Hours

The first 50 hours are devoted to instruction in the theoretical aspects
of the nail technology curriculum. Practical instruction may be included
during this phase, but supervised practice on the clinic floor begins
during the second phase.

Nail anatomy, structure, and disorders
Sanitation, sterilization, and infection control
Connecticut state laws and professional ethics
Nail product chemistry and safe handling
Client consultation and communication
Manicure and pedicure theory and procedures
Nail enhancement systems, including acrylics, gels, and wraps
Professional nail technology practices and procedures

Phase 2 — Supervised Clinical Practice: Remaining 50 Hours

The remaining 50 hours are devoted to supervised practical training
integrated with ongoing theoretical and practical instruction. Students
develop their technical skills and professional workflow under instructor
supervision.

Supervised manicure and pedicure services
Nail enhancement application, fills, and removal
Nail art techniques and finishing
Client consultation and professional communication
Client record keeping and professional workflow
Speed, precision, and consistency development
Practical skills development and instructor feedback
